Rock, slope and runoff
Oro Valley soils are shallow over decomposed granite and rock in many areas, which means more time on excavation and more thought about where spoils go. The slope also means every project is a drainage project: water coming off the mountain has to be routed around the structure and to an approved outlet. We grade to the town’s plan requirements and build the swales and berms that keep pads dry.

Development in Oro Valley is permitted through the Town of Oro Valley, which enforces its own grading ordinance, native plant preservation requirements and hillside standards. We work from the approved plan and coordinate with your designer or builder on disturbance limits and plant protection.
