Every new building needs water, power and a way to get wastewater out, and on larger lots those runs can be long. Trenching scope
- Water service trenches from the meter or well to the building.
- Sewer and septic lines cut to grade so the line drains correctly.
- Electrical trenches for service conductors and feeders to outbuildings, pool equipment and gates, to the depth the electrical code requires.
- Communications and low-voltage conduit runs.
- Conduit and sleeving under driveways and slabs for future runs.

Safety and locates
Utility locates are called in before trenching, and existing lines are exposed by hand where required. Trench depth, shoring and access are handled according to the depth and conditions. We coordinate with the plumber, electrician or utility company installing the line so the trench is open when they need it and backfilled once inspection is complete.
Backfill and compaction
A trench that settles becomes a low spot or a crack in the driveway. We backfill in lifts with suitable material and compact as the specification requires, including bedding and shading for the pipe or conduit where the installer calls for it.
Trenching is usually part of a larger site preparation scope and is closely related to septic system installation.
